This experience, lived in my sanctuary, followed evenings of prayer, decided to set me on my path. I received the sacrament of confirmation, the gift of the Holy Spirit, on June 20, 2020”. SR

In the Kingdom of Heaven

One summer day in the studio, I sat by the window and, under a mild sun, I was preparing my clay to make a me. Suddenly, a shadow in the shape of a cross appeared on the clay plate. It seemed obvious to me to follow the shadow and to materialize in matter this cross descended from Heaven. A massive clay stele that connects people on earth to the royal blue sky and to the divine light, a fine cross that foreshadows the Kingdom.
The Kingdom of God or Reign of God or Kingdom of Heaven is a theological
concept with an eschatological dimension in Judaism and Christianity (the
concept of the Kingdom of God and the announcement of its coming form the
core of the preaching of Jesus of Nazareth) and, to a lesser extent, in Islam. It takes up an older concept of divine kingship found in the ancient Near East.
